Natural comfort that improves with age
Full-grain leather provides a warm, breathable contact surface and naturally adapts through regular use. The fully dip-dyed leather helps small marks blend into the surface, while its colour and sheen deepen gradually to create a unique patina. Brompton compatibility and installation
Manoli Vitto grips are suitable for Brompton bicycles and most other flat-bar bikes using a 22.2 mm grip section. They are not intended for dedicated drop or race handlebars that use bar tape. The left and right grips are marked separately: slide each grip into position, align the seam towards the rider’s knees or the 6 o’clock position, and tighten the clamp screw evenly with an Allen key. When using a torque wrench, Manoli recommends approximately 3.0–3.5 Nm.
Leather-grip care
Occasional rain is not a problem, but avoid prolonged outdoor exposure. Wipe the grips dry after a wet ride and store the bicycle indoors. Leather conditioner can be applied occasionally if desired, although regular use naturally helps maintain the leather.
