The Black and Tan Everyday models are sometimes catalogued as Fabric Cases. These specific colours use Clarino vegan leather microfiber, rather than nylon canvas. Peak Design now lists this mounting-compatible family as SlimLink Case. Both Everyday options here are the standard non-Loop version.

Everyday Case: slim protection with a soft finish
The Black and Tan cases combine a lightweight polycarbonate body with a durable, weather-resistant Clarino exterior. Peak Design rates this case family for 2m drop protection. The published iPhone 17 range specifications list a 2.4mm rear wall, 3.4mm side/top bumper and 5.6mm bottom bumper. The stated range weight is approximately 40g, varying by +/-4g with phone model.
GNAR Case: extra grip for active use
GNAR uses a 100% recycled polycarbonate body, diamond-knurled edge texture, extra-wide power and volume buttons, and a soft Clarino microfiber lining. The removable USB-C plug helps keep dirt and moisture out of the port. Peak Design rates GNAR for 4.5m (15ft) drop protection. This does not make the case waterproof or guarantee that a phone cannot be damaged.

What is the difference between Everyday and GNAR?
Everyday has a slimmer design with a soft Clarino exterior. GNAR adds a rugged polycarbonate shell, textured grip, wider buttons and a removable USB-C port plug.
Does the Black or Tan case have a finger loop?
No. These two Everyday SKUs are the non-Loop models. The Loop Case is a separate product.
Can I use it with a Peak Design bicycle or motorcycle mount?
Yes. The integrated SlimLink interface connects to compatible Peak Design Mobile mounts. The mount is not included.
Will it work with my charger and screen protector?
These cases are MagSafe-compatible, but Peak Design does not guarantee compatibility with every third-party charger, including every Qi charger. Many screen protectors fit; compatibility is not universal.
